Biography

Ms. Bethlam Forsa serves as Chief Executive Officer at Datanyze. Ms. Forsa served as an Advisor at The EdTech Fund. She was the Executive Vice President of Product Development and Publishing Operations for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. As Chief Product Officer and Operations lead, she formulated HMH's global product and technology strategy with a particular focus on hybrid and mobile product development, partnerships with media/ technology companies (i.e., History Channel, Apple) and the delivery of device agnostic and pedagogically effective content. During her tenure with HMH, Bethlam developed award winning education apps and software including Fuse (the first and only comprehensive Algebra I, II and Geometry app), Singapore Math App, 13 iBooks, the #1 multi-modal Science program Fusion, the #1 program in the marketplace for Reading (Journey) and Literature. She also delivered leading early childhood iPad educational games such as Curious George at the Zoo and redesigned the HMH web sites.Prior to joining HMH, Bethlam was a Partner for 12 years at Accenture, a leading international management consulting firm, serving as the Global Lead Partner for Accenture's Publishing and Media Industry client portfolio.Bethlam is an active member of the NY Ed start-up community and sits on the Boards of Librify and Equality Charter School in the Bronx. She holds an MBA and a BS from Cornell University.
