Dave Richards General Information

Biography

Mr. Dave Richards serves as Managing Director and Co-Head of the Investment Operating Team at Strategic Value Partners. He served as Senior Director, Portfolio Support Group at Advent International. He joined Advent in 2009 as part of the Portfolio Support Group. He has worked extensively with eight of Advent's portfolio companies across multiple sectors helping to develop and execute value creation initiatives. Prior to Advent, he spent time with Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm, and A.T. Kearney, a global supply chain and operations consulting firm. Earlier in his career, he held senior engineering positions with Kraft Foods leading projects ranging from product cost reduction, plant efficiency, and new product launches. He earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS from Purdue University's College of Engineering.
