Biography

Mr. Stephen Smoot is the Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Lavrock Ventures. He serves as Board Member at Morpheus Space. He serves as a General Partner at Proteus Space. He serves as a Board Member at TreQ. He is a Founding General Partner of Lavrock Ventures and has served as an investor, founder, and advisor with a wide range of early-stage companies. Before founding Lavrock in 2016, he spent nearly five years at Blu Venture Investors, a seed-stage investment firm where he was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, transaction structuring, and portfolio management. He also co-founded Authentic, a software company that provides supply chain security solutions through unique item and identity management for counterfeit prevention, targeted recalls, and granular supply chain visibility. Before obtaining his MBA, he began his career in roles at BB&T Capital Partners (now Five Points Capital), and GE Capital. Mr. He served as Vice President at Blu Venture Investors.
