Biography

Mr. Selim Loukil serves as Managing Director, Portfolio Support Group at Advent International. He also served as a Board Member and Member of Supervisory Board at IDEMIA. He joined Advent's global Portfolio Support team in 2012 to help improve portfolio company performance. Before joining Advent, he spent the last 4 years in operating roles at HMY, a portfolio company of Sagard Private Equity Partners. At HMY, he was head of Strategy & PMO (program management office), then General Manager leading the full turnaround of a business unit. Prior to joining HMY, he spent 8 years as a management consultant, most recently with Bain & Co. in France and the US and earlier with Cap Gemini, working on numerous performance improvement and strategy projects in the retail, financial services, manufacturing, and technology industries. He began his career as a Sales Development Manager in the water treatment industry where he worked for Rhodia in Italy. During his career, he has spent significant time working throughout Europe and the US. He graduated from Ecole Centrale, France with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has an MBA from HEC.
