Biography

Dr. Florian Wolff serves as Partner & Head of the DACH region at Seven2. He serves as a Partner at HgCapital Trust. lorian enjoys collaborating with ambitious entrepreneurs and supporting them to elevate their companies to the next level. His expertise includes identifying businesses with strong competitive positions, portfolio value creation, and helping leadership teams scale. Florian provides tailored governance and guidance to the companies he works with to contribute to their success and growth. Joining Seven2 aligns with Florian's goals due to the firm's professionalism, deep sectoral expertise, and over 50 years of experience. Extending this legacy into the German-speaking market resonates with Florian's desire to contribute to the success of entrepreneurs in this region. Florian has over 15 years of experience in private equity, incl. with Hg in Munich and Advent International in London. His focus as an investor has been on MidMarket companies, primarily in technology and tech enabled services. He previously worked for McKinsey & Company, Inc. as well as Chase Capital Partners. He holds an MA in History from the University of Cambridge as well as an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics, and a Ph.D. from the WHU-Koblenz. Florian joined Seven2 in 2023 as a Partner in the MidMarket team and is Head of the DACH region.
