Biography

Mr. Johann Friese serves as Director, Middle Market Private Equity at The Sterling Group. He also serves as a Board Member at Artisan Design Group. Previously, he served as a Private Equity Associate at Advent International. Prior to joining Advent, he started his career in J.P. Morgan's consumer and retail investment banking group in London and later moved to Dallas as part of the New York team. At J.P. Morgan, he was advising companies across Europe and the U.S. on M&A, debt, and equity transactions. He received a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim in Germany.
