Biography

Mr. Michael Thompson serves as Managing Director and Member of the Investment Committee at Roark Capital Group. He serves as Board Member at Driven Brands. He joined Roark in 2010. He is actively involved in Roark's investments in Atkins Nutritionals and The Home Service Store. Prior to joining Roark, he managed the investment process at Montage Partners, a Phoenix-based private equity firm focused on making control investments in the southwestern United States. Before Montage, he served as a Senior Associate at Kroll Zolfo Copper, where he quantified economic damages in complex commercial litigation. He received a B.A. from Pomona College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
