Biography
Dr. Phyllis Peterson served as Chairwoman of the Investment Board at Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System. Dr. Peterson worked in Iowa public education for over 30 years before retiring in 2004 as the registrar of Kirkwood Community College. She began her career as a math teacher, and later became involved in telecommunications usage and instructional research. Dr. Peterson received her doctorate from The University of Iowa.
