Biography

Mr. Hao Zhou served as Partner at 3E Bioventures Capital. He brings with more than a dozen years of private and public market healthcare investment and research experiences, as well as capital market deal making, in both US and China. Prior to 3E Bioventures, Hao Zhou served as the head of healthcare practice at China Renaissance, a well-recognized investment bank in China, and oversees more than a dozen high-profile private healthcare companies' fund raising, M&A and IPOs, as well as other strategic actions. In addition, Hao Zhou has more than 10 years of equity research and investment experiences in both US and China's healthcare public market, including his role as Senior China Healthcare Equity Research Analyst at Piper Jaffray Asia (Hong Kong), and US Biotech / Life Science Equity Research Analyst at UBS (New York). Moreover, Hao Zhou had a successful track record as a buy-side healthcare analyst and investment manager at one of the top five-ranked mutual fund company, China International Fund Management Corp., for over two years, covering China's A-share-listed healthcare companies. Hao Zhou worked for DuPont R&D department for over five years before his career in Wall Street. Hao Zhou received his Master's Degree in Biochemistry from Iowa State University and MBA from William E. Simon Business School, University of Rochester.
