Biography
Mr. Alexandre Veiga served as Venture Partner at Hillfarrance. He co-founded and served as Board Member at Basico.com. He co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of AgVali. His deep roots in agriculture, he is a serial entrepreneur, having led two Latin America companies funded by Rocket Internet, and created the ecommerce platform Basico.com. He has run two funds focused on early-stage agricultural investments, serves on the board of Wayra, the Telefónica startup accelerator, and was on the Board of Advisors for Smart Agriculture Analytics (SAA), which is where he met Avram, Manuela, and Zachary. He holds degrees from Universidade de São Paulo.
