Biography

Mr. Gary Sica serves as Managing Director and Co-Head, Cynosure Wealth Advisors at The Cynosure Group. He serves as Executive at Ocean Avenue Management. He has spent his career advising senior law firm partners, wealthy families, and closely held business owners on investment management, income and estate tax planning, risk management, philanthropy, and family office best practices. Prior to joining The Cynosure Group, he was a Senior Managing Director and the Chief Executive Officer of KLS Professional Advisors, LLC. KLS, prior to its merger with Boston Private Wealth, was a boutique wealth advisory firm offering comprehensive wealth management and investment advisory services to law firm partners, wealthy families, and closely held business owners. During his tenure, KLS was recognized as a top-ranked advisor by Barron's, Financial Times, Forbes, and Financial Advisor Magazine. In addition to his responsibilities as the firm's CEO, he was also KLS' Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of the Investment Committee. He began his career in the private client services group of a Big Four public accounting firm, where he specialized in integrated tax planning and compliance for law firm partners, senior executives, wealthy families, and closely held business owners. He received his B.A. and J.D. from Villanova University and his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
