Biography

Ms. Laura Carr serves as Managing Director, Private Equity and European Portfolio Group at Bain Capital. She serves as Managing Director at Bain Capital. She joined Bain Capital in 2022. Prior to joining Bain Capital, she was Chief Financial Officer of Dunelm Group PLC, an FTSE 250 UK-based omnichannel retailer. She started her career at PwC (London and Sydney), working mainly with Retail and Consumer clients. She has subsequently held progressively senior finance roles within several businesses, including Compass Group PLC, Indigo Books & Music Inc, and JTI Inc. She received a BSc from Cardiff University and is a qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW).
