Biography

Mr. Billy Hart is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Bluejay Advisors. Mr. Hart founded and served as Chief Executive Officer at Hart Transportation. He has started and managed companies in transportation, financial services, apparel and real estate. After half a decade consulting with large firms in Washington, DC, in 1995, he developed an investor group and bought the assets of a bankrupt trucking company in Jacksonville, FL. As CEO of Hart Transportation, he grew his company into a $30M operation with terminals throughout the state of Florida and the southeast. He and Hart Transportation received numerous awards including Fastest Growing Private Company, as recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine and the Ultimate CEO Award in Northeast Florida, as recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal. Since completing the sale of Hart Transportation in 2012 to a publicly-traded transportation company he has worked in consulting for railroads, oil and gas companies and technology firms. He is a leader having served in leading roles within M&A, sales, change management and business strategy and analysis. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
