Biography

Ms. Amber Grayhorse served as a Senior Counsel at Sanchez & Amador. She has more than a decade of experience defending public and private employers against single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits in state and federal courts. She also represents clients in complex business litigation. Amber has substantial experience in all phases of litigation, including investigation, preparation of pleadings, strategic analysis, law and motion, settlement negotiations, and trial. Amber has litigated numerous cases involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, employment torts, breach of contract, and related business torts. She is also an experienced trainer and advises clients on employment law and workplace issues, such as harassment and discrimination, wage and hour laws, medical leaves, and discipline. Prior to joining Sanchez & Amador, Amber was a senior associate with the national firm of Nossaman LLP and international firm of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP (now Norton Rose Fulbright). Amber also practiced complex business litigation and international arbitration in Madrid, Spain, with the Spanish law firm of Gomez Acebo & Pombo. She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California at San Diego in 2000, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2003. As a law student, Amber served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Florence-Marie Cooper, Judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She also volunteered with USC's employment law clinic, providing advice and training to community non-profit organizations.
