Biography

Ms. Denica Anderson served as a Senior Associate at Sanchez & Amador. Prior to joining Sanchez & Amador, Denica was a litigation associate with Sidley Austin LLP where she practiced complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on representing accounting firms in litigation involving securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, professional liability, breach of contract, and other business disputes. Denica also has significant experience defending government investigations and False Claims Act cases related to alleged health care fraud, FDA violations and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. After five years handling commercial litigation matters, Denica enrolled at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she received her Master of Business Administration in 2012. At Wharton, Denica was awarded the Meckler Family Fellowship for outstanding academic and professional accomplishments, was selected Captain of the Women's Rugby Club, was a Nonprofit Board Leadership Fellow, and served as Vice President of Africa Projects for the Wharton International Volunteer Program. A 2005 graduate of the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, Denica was Champion of the Hale Moot Court Honors Program and was awarded a Summer Fellowship. She also served as Advocacy Vice-Chair for the Hale Moot Court Honors Program and was a member of the national team. In 2002, Denica graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
