Biography

Mr. Michael Simmeth serves as Principal at LGT Capital Partners. He is co-responsible for the Manager Selection team and responsible for the Long-only/ILS team. Mr. Simmeth initially joined LGT Asset Management in Frankfurt in 1995 as a senior quantitative analyst. He rejoined LGT Capital Partners, Switzerland, in 2002. Prior to that, Mr. Simmeth managed funds-of-funds at DWS in Frankfurt am Main. Mr. Simmeth began his career as a quantitative analyst in fixed income research of DIRI (Dresdner Bank) in Frankfurt am Main. Mr Simmeth holds a Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, and Econo-Mathematics from the University of Ulm (Germany) and Syracuse University, NY (USA).
