Biography

Dr. Howard Silverman is the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Agman Partners. He is a Co-Founder and serves as a Board Member at Ampler. He serves as a Board Member at The Omaha National Group. He serves as a Board Member at Tricoci Salon & Spa. He is a co-founder and serves as principal capital partner and senior advisor at Metonic Real Estate Solutions. He serves as Chairman at Aurenity. He served as a Board Member of Virtus and CoinList. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Brook Furniture Rental. He is responsible for all the firm's investment and philanthropic activities. Agman practices an opportunistic value approach to investing, emphasizing high conviction and long-duration positions. The firm applies the same principles to its philanthropic activities. At Agman, he has accumulated a substantial, international real estate portfolio, through the development, acquisition, and management of residential, retail, office, and hospitality properties. His holdings include one of the largest Affordable Housing portfolios in the country, providing quality housing to thousands of low-income families. He has supported numerous private enterprises, including the formation and financing of early-stage technology, finance, and life science companies. Several of these companies have been acquired or publicly listed, created billions of dollars in value for shareholders, generated hundreds of jobs, and developed products that have improved countless lives. In both his business and philanthropic pursuits, he has sponsored numerous initiatives focused on diversity, sustainability, community, and health. Many of these programs have been recognized for their tremendous impact. For instance, one program alone generated tens of millions of dollars in energy conservation savings for a large academic institution. In companies under Agman's control, more than half of the team members and nearly a third of leadership include women, minorities, and veterans. He considers these initiatives fundamental to the success of Agman. He received a doctorate from the University of Oxford as a Keasbey Memorial Scholar. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with High Honors from Dartmouth College and was first in his class at The Latin School of Chicago.
