Biography

Dr. Sebastian Zeeck served as Partner at Eversheds Sutherland. Sebastian studied in Hamburg, Munich, Münster and Cambridge (UK). He wrote his dissertation on "The International Law of Challenge in Insolvency" in the department of Prof. Ulrich Drobnig, M.C.L. at Max-Planck-Institute for foreign and international private law in Hamburg. In addition, Sebastian has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation, and he sat the examinations as lawyer specialised in insolvency law as well as lawyer specialised in tax law. Sebastian has been working at Heisse Kursawe Eversheds in Munich since 2006. Prior to that he was the deputy chairman of the department for constitutional law of one of the biggest international trade groups in Europe for four years, for which he mainly dealt with high-risk acquisitions, restructurings and financings. Prior to being an in-house lawyer Sebastian worked in an international law firm and advised insolvency administrators in particular, also in cross-border matters and challenge matters. Prior to that he was working in the area of insolvency administration.
