Biography

Mr. Zhijian Peng is a Co-Founder & serves as Managing Partner at Genesis Capital (Hong Kong). Previously he served as a Principal, Corporate Development at Google Inc and Vice President and Head, M&A at Tencent. Prior to Tencent, he was a Principal of the Google corporate development team responsible for its M&A activities in the Greater China region. He was one of the earliest employees of Google China and was instrumental in building Google China's reseller program, one of the two major sales channels for Google Adwords in China. Prior to Google, he worked with different well-regarded organizations, including Samsung Group and Shanghai Stock Exchange. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University, an M.S. in Economics from Peking University, and an MBA from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania.
