Chen Tianqiao General Information

Biography

Mr. Chen Tianqiao is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at Shanda Group. He serves as Chairman at Shanda Games. He has served as the chairman of the board of directors for Shanda Games since August 2012. Mr. Chen has served as the chairman of the board of directors and the chief executive officer of Shanda Interactive since its inception in December 1999 and the president of Shanda Interactive since January 2010. Mr. Chen also serves as a member of the board of directors of Cloudary Corporation. Prior to establishing Shanda Interactive, Mr. Chen served as the director of the president office of Kinghing Trust & Investment Co., Ltd. from 1998 to 1999, and held various management roles at Shanghai Lujiazui Group from 1994 to 1998. Mr. Chen serves as a member of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). He also serves as the vice-chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce. In addition, he is the vice-chairman of the Shanghai Youth Union, the vice president of the Shanghai Youth Development Foundation, and the vice-chairman of the Shanghai Information Services Association. He is a member of the board of directors at Fudan University. Mr. Chen holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from Fudan University. He is an Angel Investor.
