Biography

Mr. Kevin Blank serves as Executive Chairman and Board Member at OB Hospitalist Group. He serves as an Operating Partner in the Healthcare Group at Gryphon Investors. He served as a Board Member at Women's Health USA. He served as a Board Member at ActualMeds. He joined Gryphon in 2017 to co-lead the firm's Healthcare Group with Nick Orum. He works closely with senior management teams at Gryphon portfolio companies to maximize short and long-term operating and financial performance. He also participates on the investment review committee and assists Gryphon deal teams in identifying, evaluating, and executing investments. He has been a member of the Healthcare Group's Executive Advisory Board since 2015 and has been an Exclusive Operating Consultant with Gryphon since December 2016. Over many years of senior management experience in a range of healthcare technology and health services businesses, including businesses in multisite healthcare services, from retail medicine and physician practice management to payor services such as healthcare informatics, payment processing, SAAS technology, and population management. He was most recently the CEO of FastMed Urgent Care, the second-largest independent urgent care operator in the U.S. and fifth overall. Before that, he spent more than five years as Executive Vice President of Evolution Benefits, a technology and debit card provider for tax-advantaged accounts products. Earlier in his career, he was President and COO of Benefit Point, a leading Employee Benefit CRM, and Insurance Procurement Company. He also worked as President at Women's Health USA and earlier Value Health, an NYSE company. Mr. Blank has extensive healthcare operational experiences across a broad spectrum of opportunities, particularly in payor services and multisite services. In addition to his role as a Partner at Gryphon, he is currently Executive Chairman of OB Hospitalist Group and is a Board member of Water's Edge Dermatology, Intra American Medical Centers, and D & S Community, and is a guest lecturer at Boston University School of Management.
