Biography

Dr. Amit Mehta serves as a General Partner at Builders VC. He serves as a Board Member at Pathos. He is a Co-Founder of Alamo Angels where he serves as a Board Member. He serves as an Advisor & Board Member at Arpeggio. He served as the Chairman at FSM. He also serves as a Board Member at NovaScan. He also was a Co-Founder of Intrinsic Imaging where he served as Chief Medical Officer & Vice President. Previously, he served as a Board Member at Ascendant Dx and as a Venture Partner at Formation 8. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital, where he also completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology/Minimally Invasive Image-Guided Surgery. He is a founder and the Chief Medical Officer at Intrinsic Imaging, a leading Healthcare IT company. He has co-authored three textbooks in Radiology, has widely published in peer-reviewed journals, and currently is appointed as an SBIR/STTR reviewer for the National Institutes of Health. In addition to his clinical and operational pursuits, he serves as the CMO for the Texas Medical Accelerator which incubates medical device start-up companies as well as serving on the boards of various healthcare start-ups. He has been selected as one of the "Top 40 under 40" by the San Antonio Business Journal. He serves as a Board Member at OsteoVantage. He serves as a Partner at Builders VC. He is the Co-Founder of Alamo Angels.
