Biography

Mr. Justin Butler serves as Board Observer at Watchmaker Genomics. He also served as Advisor of Common Networks. He serves as Partner at Eclipse Ventures. He serves as Board Member at Capstan Medical. He serves as Board Member at Nucleus RadioPharma. He serves as Board Member at Syng. He serves as a Board Member at Rune Labs, Tortuga Logic, and Cellares. He served as Board Member at Spell. Prior to joining the investment team at Eclipse, he built and led the commercial operations at Misfit, a wearable technology company acquired by the Fossil Group for more than $250M. He serves as Board Member at BrightInsight. Before Misfit, he managed the commercialization efforts in the foods, fuels, and chemicals spaces at Synthetic Genomics, a leading synthetic biology company. At SGI, his efforts led to first-in-class technology development, licensing, and commercialization deals with companies such as ADM, and other Fortune 100 food and chemicals companies. He received his BS in Chemical Engineering from UCSB, and his MBA from MIT Sloan.
