Biography

Mr. Maciej Kowalczyk is the Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Corvus Ventures. He serves as a Board Member at 3ngage. He served as a Partner at RTAventures. He spent the last over 20 years of his professional career having worked for various VC and PE managers and realized deals at various stages and in various industries. He started at MCI Management just before the internet bubble burst in 2001, where he completed his first VC deal. It was an early-day provider of value-added services for mobile and it turned over 30x return for the fund. He moved then to AIB WBK Fund Management, a local growth PE fund where he was responsible for the technology portfolio. In 2006 he came back to MCI Management and completed 3 deals in the e-commerce and social media space. In 2009 he joined the newly created team of Enterprise Venture Fund, a growth fund under the Enterprise Investors umbrella. Among others, he invested in Ballroom International, the leading internet ad sales house operating in Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Romania, and the Czech Republic. He sold it after less than 2 years to Stroer Media with an IRR in excess of 50%. Before engaging in the investment space, he worked shortly at KPMG Corporate Finance.
