Biography

Mr. Joseph Sokol serves as Vice President at M Mountain Capital. He served as a Senior Associate at Heartwood Partners. He also served as a Senior Associate at RFE Investment Partners. He serves as an Investment Banking Analyst at Sawaya Segalas. Previously he worked at Fortress Investment Group. He is focused on new business development, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio company management. He is currently on the Board of Victor Technology. Prior to M Mountain, He served as a Senior Associate at Heartwood Partners (formerly known as Capital Partners) and RFE Investment Partners, where he worked alongside families, entrepreneurs, and other founder-operators to help grow their businesses. He has completed several platforms and add-on acquisitions and has been a valuable strategic resource for management teams in a variety of industries, including business services, niche manufacturing, and consumer/retail. He began his career in Investment Banking serving as an Analyst at Sawaya Partners and Barclays Capital. He graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance.
