Biography

Mr. David Benyaminy serves as Partner & Member of Investment Committee at AUA Private Equity Partners. Mr. Benyaminy served as a Board Member at bistroMD. He serves as a Board Member at Westminster Pet Products. Before establishing AUA Equity (and its predecessor firm), he was an investment professional at an international family office. Previously, he was an Executive Director of Trimaran Capital Partners, L.L.C, where he was responsible for sourcing private equity investment opportunities, structuring acquisitions, performing business and industry due diligence, negotiating acquisition and financing documents, and monitoring portfolio companies. He also served as a Board Member at Brighter Dental Care. Before joining Trimaran Capital Partners, he was a director in the Leveraged Finance Group of CIBC World Markets Corp. Before joining CIBC World Markets Corp., he worked at Chase Manhattan Corp, where he completed its comprehensive credit training program. He currently serves on the board of directors of Associated Foods Holdings, LLC, Two-Twenty Records Management, LLC, and served on the board of directors of El Pollo Loco, Inc., Urban Brands, Inc., and Brite Media Group LLC.
