Biography

Mr. Eugene Scavola serves as Managing Partner at PBM Capital Group. He serves as Chief Financial Officer at PS Fertility. He joined PBM Capital in 2012, assuming the role of Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining PBM, he held various executive-level positions during his 23-year career, including more than 15 years of direct pharmaceutical experience in Supply Chain Operations, Manufacturing, Business Systems, and Finance. Most recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Fareva USA, leading all financial functions for a new $200 million start-up purchased from Pfizer. His efforts were key to this entity's successful emergence as a separate company. Prior to this, he enjoyed a career of more than 15 years with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, largely with it's Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Wyeth ConsumerHealthcare subsidiaries. During this period, he made significant contributions to company sites in New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Puerto Rico across a variety of functional areas. He has led Finance Organizations at both the site and corporate levels. He served as the Global Lead for Manufacturing IT Systems and held leadership positions in the areas of Business Strategy and Business Process Management. His extensive operational experience also includes serving as the Director of two separate Business Operating Units. While in these roles, he was directly responsible for the management of the entire manufacturing process from planning through release of many key pharmaceutical products, including the on-time launch of more than 20 new products. He began his career in 1989 with Price Waterhouse LLC in their Philadelphia office. He was promoted to Manager and led numerous financial and operational due diligence projects, including mergers & acquisitions and several initial public offerings. He has a Masters in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Applied Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
