Biography

Mr. Julien Birman serves as Partner, Services Team at Seven2. He joined Apax Partners in 2014 in the Retail & Consumer sector team. Private equity is a team effort to support entrepreneurs and companies in reaching their long-term goals, and that is what he really likes about it. Therefore, joining the passionate and entrepreneurial-minded Seven2 team was an obvious choice for him, having been influenced since a young age by entrepreneurs in his family. Thriving in a multicultural team environment, he is proud of how, at Seven2, everyone enjoys what they do - and that has a lot to do with how good they are at it. He earned a Master's in Management and Finance from HEC in 2009. He began his career in 2009 with J.P. Morgan in London in the Investment Banking division as an Analyst and then Associate. He focused on the Retail & Consumer sector in Europe and was involved in various M&A, LBO, and capital market transactions. He then joined Apax Partners (now Seven2) in 2014 in the Consumer Services team.
