Biography

Dr. Santosh Putta was a Co-Founder & served as Chief Executive Officer at Qognit. Dr. Santosh Putta served as Vice President, Computational Sciences at Nodality. Santosh has over 20 years of experience in creating software and data science solutions in the life sciences industry. Prior to Qognit, he was Vice President of Computational Sciences at Nodality, where he was responsible for building and leading Computational Biology, Biostatistics and Software functions. He directed statistical analysis and design on multiple clinical studies and guided the software platform architecture to design and manage single cell proteomics data and client facing data analytics software. Earlier in his career as a chemo-informatician, he developed software algorithms and machine learning techniques for drug design at DuPont pharma and Bristol-Myers Squibb. He strongly believes that a strategic view of informatics and well-designed software tools are needed to fully leverage complex biology platforms in R&D and clinical environments. He holds a bachelor of technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a Ph.D. in Material Science from the University of California.
