Biography

Ms. Mary Owens serves as a Vice President & National Account Manager at Commonwealth Land Title. She began her career in the title insurance industry with Chicago Title Insurance as a National Service & Closing Coordinator. For the next seven years she handled substantial customer inquiries, coordinated closings, and trained and supervised the Assistant National Service Coordinator. She then joined Ticor Title Insurance. Her reputation well established, senior management of Ticor, recognized a need to enhance their service and closing operations, chose here to train and staff a unit in their national closing operations. By 1985, she achieved a transition from operations to sales. Her continuing education, and her desire for professional growth brought her back to Chicago Title as a National Sales Representative for the Commercial/Industrial National Division. She established her credentials right away as a top professional, and was promoted to Vice President, and has been a top producer for over 20 consecutive years. She has developed and maintained an effective client referral network, and is recognized as a specialist in multi-site transactions. She possessed outstanding product knowledge, and is exceptionally meticulous in coordinating her transactions to completion. Her clientele encompasses a broad spectrum of upscale markets, including attorneys, developers, corporations with real estate holdings, healthcare companies and lenders. Her education includes a UCLA Professional Designation in Marketing, two years business administration at Los Angeles City College, fine arts studies at Art Center College of Design, and completed courses in management consulting, and completed advanced course work in title insurance through the Practicing Law Institute. She has received certificates for completed business development seminars: Time Management for Results with Productive & Profit Improvement Associates, Strategic Planning For the Sales Professional with Brian Tracy International, and Behavioral Selling Skills with Sherpa & Associates.
