John Mills General Information

Biography

Mr. John Mills served as Director at Longdin and Browning (Surveys). John began his career at L&B in 1972, directly from Swansea University, spending his first few years building Oil refineries at Milford Haven, well that's his story. That was quickly followed by extended trips to Iran, eventually leading to him managing an office there. He returned to run the South Wales office, and became a director in 1979. In the following 30 years he has travelled all over the UK and the rest of the world for that matter managing topographic surveys, primarily road and pipeline schemes. In the mid 90's he became responsible for our Clear Cone activities, and has developed this technology to be the leading method of surveying motorways safely and accurately for road widening and maintenance schemes. Over the last few years he has taken a keen interest in Sailing and now runs the Hydrographic department.
