Biography

Mr. Murat Erden serves as Non-Executive Chairman at ARCH Emerging Markets Partners. He joined as Chair of the Board when ARCH was founded in 2018. He was a founding partner at Erden Consultancy Partners. He serves as a Board Member at Tirupati Graphite. He has an extensive background in banking, investments, emerging technologies, and telecommunications and served as Group CFO of NYSE-listed Turkcell and Oslo Bors-listed ice group. He is an FCA-registered specialist investment advisor with deep emerging market, private equity, and asset management experience. His educational background is equally impressive, with degrees in Economics from Bogazici University, as well as an MBA in Finance from San Diego State University. He has continued to enhance his knowledge and skills by graduating from programs at the London Business School and the Wharton Executive Development programs.
