Biography

Mr. Rune Jensen serves as Senior Partner at EV Private Equity. He serves as a Board Member at Aquaterra Energy, FourPhase, Westwood Global Energy Group, Richmond Energy Partners, and Novas Consulting. He served as Founding Partner and served as Managing Partner at Progressus Management. He served as Chairman at Romar International. He served as a Board Member at Safran Software Solutions, Trainor, and Add Energy Group. Not only that, but he has 38 years of industry experience covering Oil and gas, Financial Services, Publishing, Information and Communications Technology, and Private Equity, of which 24 years as CEO/Managing Partner. He has worked with growth and turnaround processes throughout his career both from a Top Management and a Board perspective, with CEO and Chairmanship responsibilities in 13 European countries plus in North America and Asia. He was the Founder of the Private Equity Fund Manager Progressus in 2006 and has been Managing Partner for the Progressus Funds since its foundation. Before this he was the CEO of Alliance from 1999 to 2006, an ICT turnaround investment he initiated and did on behalf of a Stavanger-based family office that later was taken public on the Oslo stock exchange and thereafter acquired by Ergo Group (now Evry), returning a 4,4x MOIC. He holds an MS in Finance & Strategy and Computer Science from the Norwegian School of Economics and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
