Biography

Ms. Cristina Westermann serves as Managing Director & Global Co-Head of Private Funds Group at Houlihan Lokey Private Funds Group. She was formerly a Partner of BearTooth Advisors, a leading boutique placement agent, where she led the distribution effort in Europe. BearTooth had developed a successful track record advising a variety of private equity and private credit managers prior to its acquisition by Houlihan Lokey in 2018. Prior to joining BearTooth in 2014, Ms. Forcina Westermann was an Executive Director in the Private Funds Group at UBS, where she spent more than 10 years covering institutional investors across Europe. While at UBS, she contributed to the closing of more than 50 fundraising assignments for leading private equity firms. She was also responsible for originating primary and secondary advisory mandates. Prior to UBS, Ms. Forcina Westermann was an Analyst at Taurus Invest, a Monaco-based multibillion-dollar family office where she oversaw the private equity portfolio. Ms. Forcina Westermann holds a degree in Economics and Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She is fluent in Italian, French, Spanish, and English.
