Peter Scholes General Information
Biography
Mr. Peter Scholes served as Principal Consultant at LRS Consultancy. He had also served as Managing Director at Urban Mines. Peter Scholes has extensive experience of delivering consultancy work to both public and private sector clients throughout the UK. Formerly Managing Director of environmental consultancy Urban Mines, Peter has been involved in resource sector consultancy since 2001, and joined LRS when the businesses merged, in April 2014. Peter has been involved in the management and delivery of a wide range of projects for clients, including large scale commercial and industrial waste surveys. He has particular skills in running multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects to time and on budget, and in subject areas such as waste services bid support, waste arisings forecasting, market evaluation, waste infrastructure development and social value. Peter holds a masters degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and has held a number of senior positions in the international chemicals and engineering sectors, including at board level. Well networked, Peter is a regular in Resource Magazine's Hot 100 annual list of movers and shakers in the resource sector. Peter is also on the management committee of the St Vincent de Paul West Yorkshire Community Support Projects group, which runs one of the largest and most successful furniture reuse and refurbishment operations in the UK.
