Biography

Mr. Scott Carson is a Co-Founder and serves as Principal and Advisor at Old Ironsides Energy. He served as Board Member at Pine Wave Energy Partners. Prior to forming Old Ironsides Energy in 2013, Mr. Carson spent eleven years with Liberty Energy Holdings, most recently serving as Senior Managing Director. In his capacity, he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, and managing the firm's private equity and oil and gas working interest portfolios. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Carson participated in Liberty Mutual Group's Corporate Finance Development Program. Mr. Carson is a member of the Investment Committee of Old Ironsides Energy and currently serves on the board of directors of Calyx Energy III and the Board of Advisers of the Western Energy Alliance. He previously served on the board of directors of Liberty Energy Holdings portfolio companies including O'Benco II. Mr. Carson is a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America. Mr. Carson holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of New Hampshire and an M.B.A. from Boston College.
