Biography

Mr. Mark Schraier served as Partner at Stinson. With more than 40 years of experience in representing closely held businesses of all sizes, Mark has built longstanding relationships with business owners and executives. He often acts as general counsel on many aspects of their businesses, from formation and tax planning, to exit strategies. Some of the industries Mark has served include real estate, distribution, protein processing, equipment manufacturing and service businesses. Clients value his practical approaches to succession planning for their businesses and families. Mark represents clients in connection with mergers, stock purchases, asset purchases, sales of businesses, reorganizations, consolidation of subsidiaries, joint ventures and strategic alliances. He represents real estate companies and investors engaged in purchasing, managing and selling multi-family and commercial properties and effecting like-kind exchanges. He provides counsel to companies expanding their business internationally. Mark assists physicians and dentists in employment matters, estate planning and succession planning.
