Biography
Mr. Austin Rees serves as Principal at LongueVue Capital. He is primarily engaged in performing financial modeling and transaction analysis; processing and executing transactions; and supporting all other investment activities of the firm. Most recently, Mr. Rees worked as a financial analyst for Moelis & Company, a global independent investment bank that provides advisory services on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and recapitalizations. During his time, he executed over $17 billion of M&A and leveraged finance transactions, in- and out-of-court restructurings, and fund recapitalizations for both publically and privately held companies across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Moelis, Mr. Rees worked as a Summer Associate at LVC. Mr. Rees received his Bachelor of Science in Finance with honors from the Wake Forest University School of Business.
