Biography

Mr. Greg Robbins served as Chief Operating Officer & Senior Managing Director at Mesirow Financial. He also served as Managing Director and General Counsel at Mesirow Advanced Strategies. Greg was a partner in the Investment Funds, Advisers and Derivatives group at Sidley Austin LLP, where he specialized in providing legal advice to hedge fund managers and participants in the derivatives industry with respect to all aspects of their business and operations. After law school, and prior to joining Sidley, Greg clerked for the Honorable Robert H. Henry on the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and before law school he worked as a legislative assistant for U.S. Senator David L. Boren. Greg earned a BA from Yale University and a JD (cum laude, Order of the Coif) from the University of Wisconsin.
