Biography

Ms. Erika Rubin serves as a Partner at Mkoba Private Equity. She brings with her unique perspectives and work experience from a broad range of settings over nearly a decade. She lived and worked for five years in Sub-Saharan Africa notably on capacity building, agriculture, and gender issues with a special focus on access to services and women's economic empowerment. She specializes in SMEs and growth-oriented women entrepreneurs in SSA. For the last three years, Ms. Rubin has worked with the EU, the Development Partners' Group (DPG), the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Tanzania, the African Development Bank in Tanzania, and at its headquarters in Tunisia focusing on aid effectiveness, monitoring and evaluation. She brings a rich experience in analysis and evaluation as well as impact assessment. She holds a BS in international relations from Göteborgs University and a Master's in International Development from Lund University.
