Biography

Mr. Omer Kreisel serves as Chief Executive Officer at Poalim Capital Markets. Prior to joining PCM, he held several senior executive roles with leading institutional investment firms in Israel. In his previous position, he was Head of the Investment Division of one of Israel's largest institutional groups, Migdal Insurance, overseeing billions of dollars of assets under management of pension and other saving-related products. Investments included among others, Real Estate, Direct Equity transactions and Alternative investments. Under his leadership, Migdal was consistently ranked among the top investment managers performance in most products and almost always top ranked on a risk adjusted basis. Prior to this appointment he served as Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager at Migdal, managing the company's proprietary portfolio before managing its largest insurance-linked pension portfolio. Before Migdal, he served as Vice President of the Investment Division at Ilanot Discount, there he was responsible for the management of nearly 40 mutual funds across all asset classes including both domestic and foreign securities. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Business from Haifa University. He trained as an investment adviser at the Recanati Business School at Tel Aviv University and completed the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange trading and executive training.
