Biography
Mr. Willis Arndt serves as Executive Vice President, Head of Legal and Compliance, and Board Member at Flimp. He also served as Chief Investment Officer at American Colonial Capital. Since 2002, Mr. Arndt is the Founder/Managing Partner of Arndt Strategies, Ltd. where he starts and grows companies as an equity partner and strategic partner identifying, cultivating, financing, and bringing to the marketplace new product ideas and consulting nonprofits, government agencies, and political campaigns. Through Arndt Strategies, LTD, Mr. Arndt has structured and managed finance, sales & marketing teams and initiatives for media, commerce companies, and nonprofits while based in Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, Sydney (Australia), and Washington, D.C. Through these initiatives, Mr. Arndt created new revenue streams of over US$20 million and over 100 partnerships with Fortune 500 companies as AETNA, AT&T, Bank of America, Bing/MSN, TD Bank, and The Hartford; hundred million dollar online marketplaces as Amazon, Nextag, PriceGrabber, and Shopzilla; eCommerce solutions companies as Google, SLI Systems, and Volusion; and global online marketing agencies as Commission Junction, Rimm-Kaufmann Group, and The Search Agency. In early 2013, Mr. Arndt was hired by The World Bank on a special assignment to visit Pakistan and work with US and Pakistani government officials to analyze and report on entrepreneurship and microfinance initiatives of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, and strategic, global, financing relationships therein. Before 2013, Mr. Arndt was Director of Business Development and Strategy at MerchantAdvantage, LLC for five years, a company he co-founded through Arndt Strategies, Ltd. Presently, Mr. Arndt is acting EVP of Business Development and Strategy at Flimp Media, LLC, which he has been on the Board of Directors since 2007. Mr. Arndt received an M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and graduated Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale College, cum laude, and distinction in the major.
