Biography

Mr. Thomas Hynes serves as Senior Managing Director, Global Investment Management Distribution, and Board Member at Mesirow Financial. Previously he was working with First Chicago Corporation. Prior to his current position, Tom was the head of Institutional Sales for Mesirow Financial and previously worked as an investment associate in Mesirow Financial's Private Equity Division, where he was responsible for due diligence and valuation analysis on direct investment opportunities. Prior to joining Mesirow Financial in 1997, he worked in the Real Estate Asset Management division at the First National Bank of Chicago. Tom earned a JD, cum laude, from the University of Chicago Law School, an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BA with honors from the University of Notre Dame. He serves on the Finance Committee for CURE (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy) and on the Investment Committee of the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School.
