Dr. Bjoern Kolbeck is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Quobyte. He joined Google Zurich in 2011 after finishing his PhD in computer science. He was one of the key developers for XtreemFS and implemented, among other things, the scalable lease protocol for file replication, which later became the topic of his PhD.
