Biography

Mr. Hagai Stadler serves as Managing Partner at AP Partners. He serves as the Chairman at Harmoniz. Prior to AP Partners, Mr. Stadler was the CEO of Algatech and led the investment in the company and later on to a significant exit. Located in the Arava desert, Algatech is a leading international biotechnology company in the micro-algae industry and has one of the biggest Photo-Bio-Reactor facilities in the world. Algatech sells active ingredients delivered from micro-algae in more than 30 countries to known brands in the Pharma, Food Supplement and Cosmetic Industries. Before heading Algatech, he was the Israeli partner of Grovepoint Capital, a London-based private equity house, which managed over USD 2 Billion in assets, led by Mr. Bradley Friend, currently the chairman of the Bank of England. Mr. Stadler was an executive adviser to the CEO of Mekorot and led the corporate strategy, government relationship and Mekorot investment committees. Prior to Mekorot, Hagai was a commercial lawyer at Lipa Meir and Co., specializing in bankruptcy and turnarounds, after an internship in Justice Rubinstein's chamber in the Supreme Court. He was a major in the Israeli Navy, commanding six patrol boats. Mr. Stadler holds an MBA and an LLB, both with distinction, from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem as well as a BA in Economics and Logistics from Bar-Ilan University.
