Biography

Ms. Renee Sorrell served as Vice President & Practice Manager at DWM Advisors. She joined DWM Advisors in August 2013 as Practice Manager. She is responsible for handling human resources, compliance and general practice management for the firm. Renee has worked in the Financial Services Industry for the last 13 years. She has an extensive background in Operations, having spent 8 years as an Operations Specialist with the Chapel Hill based hedge fund Argent Funds Group. From there, she accepted the position of Assistant Vice President in the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse. She has obtained her Series 7 and 66 licenses and earned both Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designations while working for Compass Financial Partners, an investment advisory firm, over the last 3 years in Greensboro. Renee received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received her Master's Degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
