Biography

Mr. Alex Alt serves as Executive Vice President & General Manager, Oracle Hospitality and Oracle Retail at Oracle. Mr. Alt served as President & Chief Executive Officer at Stack Sports. Mr. Alt serves as Executive Vice President & President, Hospitality Solutions at Sabre. As president and general manager of Sabre Hospitality Solutions, Alex oversees one of the company's two Software as a Service (SaaS) businesses. Sabre Hospitality Solutions provides the most comprehensive set of distribution and marketing services in the hotel industry. Prior to being named president, Alex served in an expanded chief operating officer role at Sabre Hospitality, overseeing customer care, data services, implementations, call center and similar services. As part of the company's management team, he also helped drive overall business strategy. Before joining Sabre, Alex was senior vice president of global development and strategy at Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, where he played a key role in the global growth and expansion of the business. Prior to Rosewood, Alex was a senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Company. Earlier in his career, he worked in the finance department of Sabre as a manager and senior analyst in the financial planning and analysis group. Alex is a member of the Dallas Development Board of The Nature Conservancy, an advisory board member for the School of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Texas at Austin, and he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two boys. He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Texas in Austin.
