Biography

Mr. Chow Boon Tan serves as a General Partner at Altara Ventures. He serves as a Board Member at Senseye. He served as a 20Cube Logistics and Board Member at Rotimatic. He began his career in 1984 at HP where he started as an engineer and over seven years, held key operational and managerial positions in engineering, production, procurement, and materials management. In 1991, he left HP and together with Kiat Wang and founded Omni Electronics, a Singapore EMS company, and in 1995, started Eteq Components, a Singapore electronics components distribution company to enhance the EMS service offerings. Between 1991 and 2004, He held various executive positions, including that of Managing Director of Omni Electronics and Eteq Components, Executive Director of Omni Industries, and Senior Vice President of Celestica Asia. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 1984 and his Executive MBA from the Golden Gate University, California in 1992.
