Biography

Ms. Jacque Williams served as Board Member at Masana. As co-owner of Williams & Calmer, Management and Training Consultants in Johannesburg, Ms Williams is a trained political scientist and theologian. She is an entrepreneur with a passion for development, designing and implementing of social architecture structures which empower individuals and communities. Ms Williams has broad-based international experience - having lived, studied and worked in both the USA and Europe. She was a consultant for 6 universities in Sub Saharan Africa, working with local teams implementing Gender Equity and Mainstreaming programmes in their respective institutions. She is an experienced trainer in the areas of women in development, leadership development, management skills and diversity management. Her work includes leadership exchange programmes between Africans and African Americans and between Africa and Europe. Ms. Williams serves on several boards as a director. She is presently the Chairperson of WOESA Investment Holdings (Women in Oil and Energy) and of COMANCO, an Asset Management Company in the Social Responsible Investment space.
