He graduated from the Law Department of Keio University before entering the Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan. Duties involved corporate financing in Japan and America in the form of purchasing, LBO, project financing, and cross-border leasing. Following on from that, he worked in the Tokyo Branch of Lehman Brothers, controlling investment banking roles including buyout investments with M&A, stock purchasing, and propriety trading. A move to JAFCO saw him organizing buyout investments for companies within the service industry, such as BancTec Japan and Medical Tribune. He holds a remarkable track record with Medical Tribune.
